He's expecting ACC football to cycle back to bad (and when we're bad, it means the conference is pretty decent, but without a MNC contender, but everyone (ESPN) will continually harp that we suck).

I think with the three Coastal plus Syracuse hires, the ACC is making a statement that we're getting serious about football. I think all four coaches will make their teams better than where they finished this year. Heck, odds are that Lefty will make BC's offense much better.

IMHO, the key hire that probably started the whole "coach upgrade" move within the ACC was Dook's hiring of Coach Cut several years ago. I love that guy, and he's done wonders at Dook! He's taken them higher than they've been since Spurrier left...probably higher.

I know we're riding a "high tide" wave, but moves have been made to make this semi-permanent. We just need everyone to start taking care of business OOC, and the ACC's rep will continue improve. Unfortunately that doesn't guarantee the ACC a channel for additional media exposure...
